Genre: Punk
From The Roanoke Times "Punk in Roanoke" feature:
"Blemish on Society brought true nose-snarling, middle-finger waving punk rock to Roanoke in 1982. A quartet led by singer and lyricist Tommy Housman and guitarist Doug Caldwell, BOS reveled in talking their way into blue collar and redneck bars where they knew their songs like 'Who is God?' and 'Reagan's Fantasy' would hardly be well-received."
